The issues we work on cover a broad field of society, which is why Vrede attaches great importance to partnerships. We collaborate with other peace organisations and social movements through specific or long-term partnerships on a local, national and international level.

Vrede is often the initiator and coordinator of broad national anti-war platforms that are established as a necessary response to international current events. Some of Vrede’s partnerships on an international level are ad hoc, others are more structural and based on common ideologies, visions and goals. With the No to War - No to Nato Network for instance we actively try to construct an international peace movement. Our collaboration with the International Campaign against Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) -which received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017- is more campaign-oriented, just like our partnership with Nuke Free Europe.
