Online sessions before and after counter NATO summits to support our colleagues in Türkiye and strengthen our No to NATO movement.

Pre-Summit – July 3, 7:00–9:00 PM CEST

Session 1 (7:00–8:00 PM): US Global Strategy and NATO
Discussion on U.S. foreign policy under Trump, its impact on NATO, U.S.–Europe relations, European militarization, and prospects for a new peace architecture. Opening remarks from the No to NATO Network and Turkish partners.

  • Speakers: Anu Chenoy, Reiner Braun, and a Turkish representative (TBC).
  • Moderator: Kristine Karch.

Session 2 (8:00–9:00 PM): The New International Situation
Examines European rearmament, the militarization of society, political and economic restructuring, and the portrayal of China and Russia as strategic rivals.

  • Speakers: Michael von der Schulenburg, Alain Rouy, a Spanish representative (invited), and Oleg Bodrow.
  • Moderator: Kate Hudson.

Post-summit - July 11, 3:00 PM CEST

What does the NATO summit mean for our vision and our movement? How do we build alternatives to NATO and war in the new context?

Our movement: how we come together in solidarity, expand our alliances, and work to overcome the NATO war machine
